UK Government Announces £65 Million Aid Package for Farmers Hit by Severe Drought

The government has unveiled £65 million in emergency support for British farmers facing water shortages and crop damage after consecutive heatwaves. Farming unions welcomed the funding but said longer-term investment in national water infrastructure is needed to protect food production.
