Simon Abraham, 34, worked at Eastbourne District General Hospital in the UK when he contacted the patient after she had been treated for severe headaches.
The patient agreed to a massage, but Abraham sexually assaulted her during the treatment.
He was convicted of sexual assault after a four-day trial and sentenced last week.
The court also imposed a restraining order on Abraham, who will be placed on the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
