UK Defense Secretary: ‘Ready to Fight’ Over Taiwan

UK Defence Secretary John Healey has declared that Britain is prepared to take military action in the event of a conflict over Taiwan, underscoring London’s alignment with international partners in deterring Chinese aggression.

The remarks follow joint air surveillance operations over the Black Sea involving the UK, France, and Belgium, highlighting a more assertive posture by Britain in global defense affairs.

The comments come amid broader strategic recalibrations by Western powers in the Indo-Pacific region.
