As part of their newly signed friendship treaty, the UK and Germany have agreed to explore the creation of a high-speed rail link connecting London and Berlin.

The initiative is being led by a joint taskforce aiming to boost sustainable cross-border travel, economic ties, and European rail integration in the post-Brexit era.
