This aid is intended for the Gaza Strip and will enter through the Rafah Border Crossing in coordination with the UN World Food Programme. The initiative is an extension of the UAE's ongoing humanitarian efforts to support those affected in Gaza, especially women, children, and the elderly, by providing essential food, medicine, health supplies, and sanitary products.
Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister for Development and International Organisations Affairs, stated that this dispatch is a continuation of the UAE's commitment to alleviate the humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
He also mentioned that the “Tarahum for Gaza” campaign, launched last month, saw significant participation from various segments of society, humanitarian organizations, and volunteers.
This campaign reflects the UAE's dedication to offering relief to the Palestinians and showcases the nation's values of generosity and human solidarity.
