A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed at the Dubai Airshow 2023 for the purchase of up to 100 Archer's Midnight eVTOL aircraft. An initial non-refundable pre-delivery payment of $1 million for the air-taxi vehicles will be made by the end of the year.
Air Chateau intends to own and operate the Midnight aircraft in the region, and the two companies will work to formalize the definitive agreements over the coming months.
The collaboration aims to strengthen Archer's plans to commence air taxi operations in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai by 2026, with a focus on infrastructure investment.
The partnership represents a significant step toward realizing the future of urban air mobility in Dubai and the UAE.
