The United Arab Emirates announcing a three-day weekend holiday for its public sector employees in celebration of National Day 2023.
The Federal Authority For Government Human Resources (FAHR) declared that from December 2 to December 4, 2023, there would be a public holiday for those working in the public sector.
Additionally, FAHR has announced that December 1 will be a remote working day for employees of ministries and federal entities.
This decision was communicated through a statement on social media, which also noted that public sector employees are expected to resume work on Tuesday, December 5th, following the National Day holiday. This extended weekend is in recognition of the UAE's National Day celebrations.
