Ilhan Omar stood on stage in Minnesota and told a crowd that the president of Somalia is “our president” and “Somalia is our home.”
Not her childhood home. Not their heritage. Just straight-up "our president" and "our home."
She gushed about calling the Somalian president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud “her uncle,” claiming he calls her “his girl.”
This isn’t a slip-up. She’s not confused. She’s a sitting U.S. Congresswoman who swore an oath to the United States... and then turned around and declared allegiance to a foreign leader on American soil.
If this isn’t a violation of her oath, what is?
