North Wales Police have launched an investigation after two women were found dead following an incident in Eryri, also known as Snowdonia National Park.

Authorities have not released further details but confirmed they are treating the matter with urgency and compassion.

They extended their condolences to the victims' families and urged anyone with information to come forward to aid in the inquiry.
