Trump Organization Teams with Saudi Developer on $1 Billion Trump Plaza in Jeddah

New Gulf-market project marks second Trump-branded tower in Jeddah, expanding Trump’s Middle East footprint

The Trump Organization has entered into a new development agreement in the Gulf region, partnering with Saudi real estate firm Dar Global to build a $1 billion mixed-use project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, expanding its footprint in a booming Middle East property market. The new development, branded Trump Plaza, will be the Trump Organization’s second planned tower in the city, following the earlier Trump Tower Jeddah.

According to the Saudi developer, the project will include luxury residential units, serviced apartments, high-end offices, and townhouses. It will form part of a broader master plan dubbed “Manhattan,” which is designed to evoke the character of New York City with a central park-style corridor. Dar Global says the development will be built on a 1 million square metre parcel of land acquired in a record $1.19 billion land purchase earlier in the year.

Under the agreement, the Trump Organization’s role is largely brand and management licensing, while the development risk and capital investment are borne by Dar Global, which is publicly listed in London. The Trump Organization has previously executed similar licensing deals in the Gulf region, including in Oman, the UAE, and earlier in Saudi Arabia.

Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, called the project “a new benchmark” in global real estate and expressed pride in elevating living standards in the region. The arrangement extends the company’s luxury brand presence while insulating it from direct development exposure.

Observers note that the expansion coincides with the Trump administration’s broader diplomacy and trade engagement in the Gulf. The development deal follows Donald Trump’s diplomatic visits to regional states and underscores how business and state ties may intersect in property and investment sectors.

As demand for high-end property in the Gulf intensifies, especially along coastal cities like Jeddah, the Trump Plaza project reinforces the region’s appeal for international investors. The success of this venture could further influence the Trump Organization’s strategy in the region.

Pending official timelines, Dar Global says the Trump Plaza Jeddah development is now in early planning stages, with construction to follow once regulatory and design approvals are secured.
