Travis Scott Released from Custody After Paris Hotel Altercation

US rapper Travis Scott was released from French custody after a 36-hour detention related to a hotel altercation in Paris. The 33-year-old was arrested for fighting with his security guard but released due to insufficient evidence. Despite past legal issues, Scott continues to achieve in the music industry, including recent Grammy nominations and major endorsements.
US rapper Travis Scott has been released by French police following a 36-hour detention regarding a violent incident at the Georges V hotel in Paris.

The 33-year-old artist, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, was arrested after an altercation with his security guard.

The Paris prosecutor's office confirmed his release due to insufficient evidence.

Scott's US representative confirmed no charges were filed and that they were in direct communication with Parisian authorities.

This incident follows previous legal issues for Scott, including arrests in Miami Beach and a tragic crowd crush at a Houston concert in 2021.

Despite this, Scott remains active in the music industry, with Grammy nominations for his album 'Utopia' and partnerships with major brands like Nike and McDonald's.

He shares two children with Kylie Jenner.
