Hundreds of mourners gathered to pay their respects to the medical student, who was stabbed to death along with Barnaby Webber, a 19-year-old history student, and 65-year-old school caretaker Ian Coates.

The eulogy given by Grace's father, Dr. Sanjoy Kumar, highlighted his daughter's dedication to medicine and her desire to serve her country.

He described her as an "angelic girl" who wanted to outdo her father and uncle in public service.

Her mother, Sinead O'Malley, spoke of her daughter's perfect birth and how she had come into their lives in Westminster.

The funeral of Barnaby Webber was held earlier this month at Taunton Minster in Somerset.

His parents, Emma and David Webber, attended the funeral of Grace O'Malley-Kumar, along with Sir Kenneth Olisa, the King's representative in Greater London.

Valdo Calocane, a 31-year-old former University of Nottingham student, has been charged with the murder of all three victims and is due to enter pleas before Nottingham Crown Court on September 25th.

The Nottingham attacks have left the community in shock and grief, and the loss of these three young lives is a tragic reminder of the dangers of violence and knife crime.

The BBC East Midlands reports that the community is rallying to support the families of the victims and to promote peace and unity in the face of tragedy.
