Tragic Death of 15-Year-Old Girl at Cleethorpes Beach

A boy, also 15, was also airlifted to hospital but later discharged.

Both children were reported missing at 14:00 BST on Saturday, prompting a search that involved an HM Coastguard helicopter and RNLI lifeboat.

The girl's family requested that she not be officially named.

Humberside Police are working with relevant agencies to understand the circumstances of the tragic accident.

Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene.
