Suleman's mother, Christine Dawood, and her daughter were on the support vessel, the Polar Prince, when they lost communication with the Titan.
Suleman was known for his love of the Rubik's Cube and had planned to break the world record for solving it on board the Titan.
His mother said that Suleman carried the Rubik's Cube with him everywhere and had even solved it in 12 seconds before.
The family was on board the Polar Prince for Father's Day and Suleman and his father were excited to finally go on the submersible after years of wanting to do so.
The search and rescue mission was unsuccessful, and Mrs.
Dawood said she lost hope after 96 hours.
Five people were killed in total, including Suleman and his father.
