In the past month, 20 tourists from around the world have mistakenly booked her family home as a Booking.com destination, causing her to turn away desperate travelers from as far as Argentina, Canada, India, and the US.
The mother of two has had to accommodate some of the travelers for a short time but has not felt comfortable doing so and has considered legal action against the website.
Booking.com has removed the property from its site and is offering refunds and support to the affected customers.
