"Totally Up For The Fight" To Win UK General Election, Says Rishi Sunak

Rishi Sunak, British Prime Minister, is eager and prepared to campaign for the Conservative Party in the forthcoming general election, expected later this year.

He remains optimistic, citing positive economic indicators and improvements. Speaking to The Times, the 43-year-old leader of British Indian heritage believes the nation is moving in the right direction with falling mortgage rates and tax cuts as evidence of his successful policies.

Sunak emphasizes his commitment to reducing taxes as a core value aligning with his party's principles that reward hard work. Yet he also cautions, alongside Chancellor Jeremy Hunt, against expecting significant tax reductions in the Spring Budget, suggesting that recent speculations may be overblown.

Despite this optimism, the Conservative Party is still trailing behind the Labour Party in polls, facing voter dissatisfaction. Sunak stands firm, underlining his readiness to engage in the electoral battle ahead.
