Timothy Stew appointed as British Ambassador to Panama
UK authorities appointed Timothy David Stew as British Ambassador to Panama. Stew, who replaces Damion Potter after being in office for four years, will take office in July 2021.
"Honored and delighted," Stew described himself after the announcement, who said he is looking forward to this opportunity.
The new ambassador served as British High Commissioner in Port of Spain from 2015 to 2020. From 2010 to 2015 he was the Head of the Arab Association and was in charge of strategic finances.
From 2007 to 2010 he was in Kuwait City as Deputy Chief of Mission; from 2003 to 2006, he assumed as head of political and economic teams in Cairo.
