Tiger Shark Attack Kills 23-Year-Old Russian Tourist in Egypt's Hurghada

Local beachgoers later captured and killed a tiger shark they believed was responsible for the attack.

The killing was captured in a video, which shows a group of people brutally clubbing the shark to death as revenge.

The Egyptian Environment Ministry confirmed the capture of the shark and stated that it would be examined in a laboratory to investigate what may have triggered the attack.

The incident has resulted in the closure of a 74-kilometre stretch of the coastline until Sunday for swimming and water sports activities.
