Three Teenagers Charged Following Shooting Incident in Croydon
Charges include attempted murder after a 17-year-old boy sustained life-changing injuries from a gunshot.
Three teenagers have been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred in Croydon, London, which left a 17-year-old boy with life-changing injuries.
The Metropolitan Police responded to the incident and found the victim had been shot in the leg.
The arrest of the suspects took place with two teenagers apprehended on February 11 and one on February 13. The individuals charged include 19-year-old Dontae Dillon from Burgess Hill, who faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm.
Additionally, a 16-year-old male, also from Burgess Hill and not named due to legal restrictions, has been charged with the same offenses.
A 15-year-old boy from Croydon, whose identity is also protected by law, has been charged with attempted murder.
The 15-year-old made his first appearance before Croydon Magistrates’ Court on February 13, while Dillon and the 16-year-old were presented at the same court on February 15. All three are scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, March 13, as the case progresses through the judicial system.
