Three Relatives of Murdered Connecticut Girl Appear in Court

The remains of the 12-year-old victim were discovered in a plastic bin earlier this month.

A mother, her boyfriend, and the aunt of a 12-year-old Connecticut girl whose remains were found inside a plastic bin have appeared before a judge to face charges related to her death.

Prosecutors allege the trio concealed the child’s death and attempted to dispose of her body.

Authorities say the investigation remains active as forensic teams continue to gather evidence in the high-profile case.
