The two London Underground stations with maze symbols added that are different to anywhere else

Two new unique London Underground Labyrinths have been added to mark the tenth anniversary of these maze puzzles in Tube stations. Commissioned in 2013 for the Tube's 150th anniversary, there are now 270 of these mazes across the network.

These new mazes are located at Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms stations, which joined the Underground in September 2021 with the Northern line extension.

Created by artist Mark Wallinger, they use the Labyrinth symbol, inspired by London Underground symbols. Each station has its own unique Labyrinth design on a 60cm² enamel panel, representing passenger journeys.

The artworks are strategically placed for visibility and marked with a number out of 270, denoting the total number of London Underground stations in 2013.

The new Labyrinth designs at Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms are numerically linked to Kennington's Labyrinth, marked as 110/270, celebrating the Underground's expansion to iconic locations.
