The event, attended by around 50 people, commemorates those whose remains have not been found. To date, the remains of 13 individuals have been recovered, leaving four still missing: Joe Lynskey, Columba McVeigh, Seamus Maguire, and Robert Nairac.
The Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains (ICLVR) took on Mr. Maguire's case in 2022. The ICLVR, established by the British and Irish governments in 1999, seeks to locate and return the remains of the Disappeared to their families.
