Transport for London (TfL) will temporarily close five of its Tube lines in one day to install a new signalling system.
The Circle, Jubilee, District, Hammersmith and City, and most of the Metropolitan lines will be shut for maintenance and testing of the new signalling system on November 11. Buses will replace trains during the closure, which will run from the start of the day until 3 pm.
TfL says the new system will result in more reliable journey times. Commuters are advised to check their routes using the TfL Go app and seek alternative routes on the day of the closures.
