He is also accused of blackmailing BT Group and EE, and hacking Nvidia Corp.
Kurtaj was assessed as not fit to stand trial, so a jury will determine if he committed the alleged offenses.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named, is on trial for blackmail and hacking charges.
He has previously pleaded guilty to two offenses under the Computer Misuse Act and one count of fraud.
