Assad highlighted the Israeli entity's inherent character of aggression and killing, stressing that the situation has escalated with the targeting of civilians, infrastructure, and hospitals for forced displacement. He described the recent aggression as part of a long history of Zionist crimes spanning over seventy-five years.

The Syrian president criticized the peace process, which has spanned 32 years, as a failure, noting that Israel has become more aggressive while the situation in Palestine, as well as in the Golan Heights, has deteriorated without justice or the return of land.

President Al Assad called for unity in addressing the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people. He advocated for a peaceful path that depends on Israel's commitment to an immediate and extended cessation of its criminal policies against Palestinians across all regions, including allowing immediate entry of aid into Gaza.
