The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) reported that summer arrived earlier than ever before in Sweden, with the previous record being set in 1906 when summer arrived on April 10th.
Due to global warming, SMHI stated that the likelihood of summer arriving even earlier in the future increases.
However, despite the official arrival of summer, Sweden is forecasted to experience temperatures in the single digits and miss out on balmy weather for the next week.
