Suspected Acid Attacker in London Bailed Amid Investigation
A 35-year-old man arrested after a suspected acid attack outside Westminster Academy in West London has been bailed. Fourteen-year-old Teagan McFarlane and a 16-year-old boy were injured in the attack, which also hurt a staff member. Police continue to search for information, urging the public to provide dashcam footage to assist in identifying the attacker.
A 35-year-old man has been released on bail following his arrest on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in a suspected acid attack outside Westminster Academy in Westbourne Park, west London.
The incident left 14-year-old Teagan McFarlane with severe injuries requiring surgery, and a 16-year-old boy also suffered injuries.
A staff member was injured while assisting the victims.
A 14-year-old girl was also arrested and released on bail.
The attack involved an unidentified man who threw a substance at the teenagers and then fled on an electric scooter.
Police are seeking dashcam footage to aid their investigation.
Teagan's father, Corey McFarlane, expressed deep distress over his daughter's physical and emotional trauma.
After initial hospital treatment, Teagan was readmitted, while the boy was allowed to return home after treatment.
