Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood expressed his shock over recent complaints against professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima.

Pernice has denied any allegations of abusive behavior, while Di Prima admitted to kicking his celebrity partner, Zara McDermott, during rehearsals, which his representative described as a regrettable mistake.

Revel Horwood, who learned of these incidents through the press, reiterated that judges are not present during rehearsals and are kept separate from the rest of the company.

In response, the BBC has confirmed new measures, including placing a production staff member in all future rehearsals and appointing dedicated welfare producers to address any issues.
