The channel, which started in 2011, amassed 10.8 million subscribers primarily among children. Minecraft, the world's best-selling video game, recently reached over 300 million copies sold worldwide and is known for its sandbox nature and limitless creative possibilities.
Microsoft acquired Minecraft in 2014 and recently expanded its gaming empire with the acquisition of Activision Blizzard for $69 billion.
