Spotify signs new deal with popular US podcaster Joe Rogan

Spotify has renewed its multi-year contract with prominent American podcaster Joe Rogan.

This strategic move is aimed at leveraging the success of "The Joe Rogan Experience," which has been exclusive to Spotify since 2020, to boost ad sales. The show, featuring notable guests like Quentin Tarantino and Elon Musk, will also be made accessible on other platforms.

Spotify's commitment to podcasts, which includes acquisitions and celebrity deals, has significantly increased both its content consumption and revenue. The exact financial terms of the deal with Rogan, speculated to be around $250 million by the Wall Street Journal, have not been disclosed by Spotify.
