Theatre and film producer Bill Kenwright, who also served as the chairman of Everton FC, has passed away at the age of 78 following a long battle with illness. Kenwright was known for his successful theatre productions and also played Gordon Clegg in the long-running television series Coronation Street. In addition to his achievements in entertainment, he had been a key figure in the leadership of Everton FC since 1989.
