Simone Biles and Riley Gaines Clash Over Transgender Athletes in Women's Sports

A public dispute has erupted between Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines over the inclusion of transgender athletes in women's sports.

The exchange began after Gaines criticized a transgender female softball player's participation in a Minnesota high school championship, prompting Biles to label Gaines' comments as 'truly sick.' Gaines responded by accusing Biles of supporting policies that compromise fairness in women's sports.

The debate highlights ongoing national discussions surrounding gender identity and athletic competition.
