The incident, involving a reported fight in Burket Close, occurred around 00:15 GMT on a Wednesday. Upon arrival, the Metropolitan Police found Simarjeet Singh Nangpal with stab injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The individuals charged with his murder are Amandeep Singh (21), Manjit Singh (27), Ajmeer Singh (31), and Poran Singh (71). All four, who are from Southall in west London, were arrested at the crime scene. Two of the accused had to be hospitalized for injuries sustained prior to the arrival of the police.
Simarjeet, a resident of the Southall area, is survived by a family currently receiving support from specialist officers. Detective Superintendent Figo Forouzan expressed condolences to Simarjeet's family and acknowledged the community's concern over this tragic event.
In response, the police have increased patrols in the area and are encouraging community members to share any concerns they might have with the officers. The four accused are set to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
