Significant Commercial Theft: £134k of Kinder Bueno Chocolate Stolen from Skelmersdale Industrial Estate

A significant commercial theft occurred on the Gillibrands industrial estate in Skelmersdale at around 3:00 BST on 17 March.

Thieves stole a trailer filled with £134,000 worth of Kinder Bueno chocolate bars from a business premises using a lorry.

The lorry is believed to have been taken to Simonswood, Kirkby, Merseyside, where the stolen goods were transferred to another vehicle.

Police are investigating this incident as a "significant commercial theft." A stolen trailer was recovered in Rainford.

Police are asking for information from anyone who saw anything suspicious around the Skelmersdale industrial estate, Gillibrands, where the load was transferred or the trailer was abandoned.

The industrial estate, established first in Skelmersdale, is divided into West and East Gillibrands, according to Lancashire County Council.
