On July 11, 2016, while attempting to leave the North Sea container terminal, the Dali struck a quay. Although the specific cause wasn't disclosed, the vessel was docked for repairs before being cleared for departure, ensuring safety.

The Antwerp port authorities and the Belgian nautical committee, responsible for investigating such incidents, have yet to comment further.

The 948-foot MS Dali, operated by Synergy Marine Corp and owned by Grace Ocean Pte Ltd, was under Maersk's charter during the Baltimore incident. Maersk has refrained from commenting on the Antwerp accident.
