In a separate investigation, police in Glasgow have launched a murder probe following the death of 15-year-old Amen Teklay, who was pronounced dead at the scene after being found seriously injured on Clarendon Street late on Wednesday night.

The initial post-mortem examination indicated that Amen's death is being treated as murder, prompting an appeal for information from the public.

Amen was known to be a bright student at St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, where he was remembered for his interests in music and media.

The school community has expressed condolences and is offering support to those affected by this incident.
