During the meeting, Prince Faisal emphasized the importance of all conflicting parties adhering to International Humanitarian Law and stopping all forms of targeting civilians.
Both Saudi and German foreign ministers highlighted the critical role of the international community in fulfilling its responsibilities. This includes reaching an immediate ceasefire and finding a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
They stressed that any solution should align with United Nations and Security Council resolutions. Furthermore, Prince Faisal and Baerbock agreed on the necessity of developing urgent solutions for the delivery of medical and relief materials to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
The meeting underscored the commitment of both Saudi Arabia and Germany to address the ongoing conflict in Gaza and seek sustainable solutions for peace and stability in the region.
