Saudi Arabia has announced a major breakthrough in diplomacy with Iran after two years of intense talks

Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan highlighted that the resumption of relations with Iran is the result of successful dialogue, with a focus on good neighborliness, respect for sovereignty, and non-interference in internal affairs.
Prince Faisal Bin Farhan confirmed the news during an interview with Al-Arabiya, following the announcement of the historic deal brokered by China.

Prince Faisal highlighted that the resumption of relations with Iran is the result of successful dialogue, with a focus on good neighborliness, respect for sovereignty, and non-interference in internal affairs.

The Prince added that this marks a new era in addressing regional security challenges and will serve the interests of all countries in the region.

In response to Lebanon, Prince Faisal emphasized the need for Lebanese parties to prioritize their interests over any other foreign agenda.

He noted that Saudi Arabia will continue to support Lebanon and work towards building the state for the prosperity of its people.

Turning to Syria, Prince Faisal pointed out that the humanitarian situation and refugee crisis in Syria are unsustainable.

He stated that a new approach is necessary and requires a dialogue with the Syrian government, and Saudi Arabia is working with its partners in the international community to find a suitable solution.

Prince Faisal expressed deep concern over the recent escalation between Palestine and Israel.

He urged Israel to stop its successive measures in Palestinian territories and create a suitable atmosphere for dialogue.

The Prince affirmed that Saudi Arabia is determined to advance the path of dialogue towards the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

We will keep you informed of any further updates on this historic announcement.
