For the first time in decades, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, joined Prince Andrew, marking her return post-breast cancer treatment. They were joined by their children and spouses.

Royal enthusiasts, some from the USA, lined up to observe the traditional walk. Notable was the Duchess of York's reintroduction after a 30-year absence. Royals celebrated Christmas at Sandringham House, a tradition upheld by the King after Queen Elizabeth II.

Young royals such as Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, Zara and Mike Tindall's children, participated. Prince Andrew, who has stepped back from duties after his association with Jeffrey Epstein, was also present.

The return to Sandringham marks the Royal Family's second Christmas gathering post-pandemic. The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a new Christmas photograph of their children earlier in the day.
