The first day started wet but warmed up nicely, and racegoers including Daniel Lismore, Una Healy, Zara and Mike Tindall, Princess Beatrice, and King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the event.

Daniel Lismore wore a dramatic red gown with floral appliqués and a Union Jack and feathered hat, while Una Healy looked sleek in a white crocheted dress and Barbie-core approved heels.

Zara Tindall wore a green midi buttoned up number from Leo Lin and a bespoke straw hat with pink ribbons, and Princess Beatrice wore a Beulah dress and yellow diamond earrings.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were the main event, with Queen Elizabeth's late sister, Princess Anne, and her daughter, Princess Beatrice, also attending.

Sabrina Elba arrived at Royal Ascot in a white skirt suit from Self-Portrait, reminiscent of the suit worn by Diana, Princess of Wales.

Georgia Toffolo was also present in a red and white floral dress by Rosie Assoulin, and Ciinderella Balthazar wore a black trouser suit and statement white hat.

The most anticipated arrival was the Prince and Princess of Wales, who arrived in a carriage with Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The Princess was dressed in a bold red dress by Alexander McQueen and a Philip Treacy hat.
