Protestors Disrupt Gallagher Premiership Final at Twickenham
The Gallagher Premiership final at Twickenham was interrupted by two pitch invaders from the pressure group Just Stop Oil, who threw orange smoke bombs onto the field.
The Sharks captain Jono Ross and Sale players Tom Curry and Ross manhandled the two protestors, who were eventually removed by stadium stewards.
Ross criticized the group for ruining sporting events and not finding favor with the crowd.
Two arrests were made, and the protestors were demanding a halt to new licenses for oil, gas, and coal projects in the UK.
