During an interview at the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham, Robert Jenrick revealed that his daughter Sophia's middle name is 'Thatcher.' The revelation occurred during an hour-long interview with Christopher Hope of GB News, in front of 4,000 delegates.

Jenrick explained that Sophia was born in the year Margaret Thatcher died, and he wanted to honor the former prime minister as he respects strong women.

Political name-giving has precedent, as demonstrated by Liz Truss and Keir Starmer with their children's names.
