Rugby league legend and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) campaigner Rob Burrow has left a poignant final message urging people not to 'waste a moment' of their lives.

The message was recorded for the BBC documentary There’s Only One Rob Burrow and was released following his death on Sunday at age 41.

Diagnosed with MND in 2019, two years after retiring from a 17-year rugby career with Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain, Burrow hoped for a future cure for the disease.

Rob's wife, Lindsey Burrow, described him as 'simply the best' and expressed gratitude for the public’s support during his illness.

On Monday, Burrow’s family initiated the construction of a new MND treatment center in Leeds, named in his honor.

Rob Burrow's lasting message emphasizes bravery, living in the moment, and daring to dream even in adversity.
