A new report has revealed that Iran, in collaboration with North Korea, has been secretly developing long-range nuclear-capable missiles with a range of up to 2,900 kilometers.
These missiles are reportedly capable of reaching Europe and Israel.
According to the British newspaper 'The Telegraph,' the information was provided by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), an Iranian opposition group operating from Albania and France.
The report claims that two sites used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were involved in the development and production of these missiles, though they were concealed as satellite launch facilities.
One of the sites, located about 35 kilometers from Shahroud, is reportedly used for developing warheads.
This facility has been involved in producing a nuclear missile that is integrated into the IRGC's satellite launcher, the Kham 100.
The report also mentions that three successful launches of the missile have already taken place, with advanced testing expected soon.
A second site, located 70 kilometers southeast of Semnan, is dedicated to the production of Simorgh launchers, based on North Korean technology similar to the Unha-1 satellite launcher.
The facility, known as the Imam Khomeini site, is said to have an extensive underground system to conceal the activities from intelligence surveillance.
It has reportedly expanded significantly over the past decade.
The Iranian government has heavily secured these military sites, with strict security measures in place to prevent the exposure of operations.
Workers reportedly enter these sites under strict supervision, with transportation arranged through security checkpoints to maintain confidentiality.
In a related development, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi recently showcased a new ballistic missile, the Atamad, which has a range of up to 1,700 kilometers.
Raisi emphasized that Iran’s defense capabilities have advanced to the point where no country can attack the nation.
