Rightmove, UK's Property Portal, Incorporates Broker Advice into Mortgage Business
Rightmove, the UK's leading property website, has introduced mortgage broker services on its platform and aims to generate £25 million by 2028. Last week, the company launched its first broker product, building on its existing partnership with Nationwide Building Society to streamline online mortgage applications.
CEO Johan Svanstrom announced the expansion on BBC Radio, noting that it's designed to offer consumers more options amidst fluctuating interest rates, in collaboration with a financial arm of an estate agent broker service.
Details about the new broker advice service are set to be disclosed during Rightmove's investor presentation later today.
On Monday, Rightmove raised its annual revenue prediction per advertiser, buoyed by a surge in listings from new home developers and robust demand from rental agents in a tight market. The updated revenue expectations, now set between £112 and £116, surpass the prior estimate of £103 to £105, driven by greater uptake of targeted ads and comprehensive listings with detailed property information.
