A group of diners who racked up a nearly £500 bill at Stubbs Restaurant in Ashford, Kent, left without paying, prompting the restaurant to publicly shame them on Facebook.

The diners enjoyed a meal that included lobster, crab, shrimp cocktails, lobster Thermidors, steak, skate, crispy brie, pints of Thatchers, and glasses of pinot and Malbec.

This is not the first time Stubbs Restaurant has dealt with dine-and-dash incidents, and patrons and Facebook users expressed outrage at the diners' behavior, with some suggesting that the restaurant should take payment when ordering to prevent such incidents.
