Tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in London and other UK cities, demanding an immediate end to Israel's attacks in Gaza amid the recent escalation of conflict.
Demonstrators carried banners and chanted slogans such as "Gaza, stop the massacre" and "Free Palestine, end Israeli occupation." While the protests were largely peaceful, there were some arrests, including potential hate crimes.
The "from the river to the sea" chant raised controversy, with different interpretations. Similar protests have taken place worldwide, calling for a ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza as the conflict's toll grows.
