Pro‑Palestinian Activists Breach RAF Base to Vandalize Planes
Damage caused to Voyager jets during security breach at Brize Norton
Two pro‑Palestinian activists infiltrated RAF Brize Norton, the UK’s largest air base, spraying red paint into the engine compartments of two Voyager aircraft and causing damage to the tarmac using crowbars before exiting undetected.
The Ministry of Defence condemned the incident as vandalism, Prime Minister Keir Starmer described it as disgraceful, and a full security review has been launched.
Police have opened an investigation under military and terrorism legislation to apprehend the perpetrators.
