Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, attended the Festival of Remembrance at London’s Royal Albert Hall, marking her return to public duties after undergoing preventive cancer treatment.

Accompanied by Prince William and other members of the royal family, Kate donned a black dress with a red poppy, honoring those who have died in conflict.

King Charles also attended, though Queen Camilla missed the event due to a chest infection.

In September, Kate completed chemotherapy; she acknowledges her recovery will be prolonged.

Her previous appearance was in October, meeting families of three murdered young girls in northwest England.

Kate is set to participate in the main Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph war memorial, dedicated to those who perished in war, held the closest Sunday to November 11.

Buckingham Palace reported Camilla plans to resume duties the following week, commemorating Remembrance Day privately.

During Prince William's climate-focused visit to South Africa, he discussed the challenges faced in the last year, both personally and within the royal family, as King Charles also battles cancer.

William emphasized the importance of empathy and impactful philanthropy, signaling a shift in royal duties towards collaboration and global leadership.
