Princess Kate Hospitalized Following Abdominal Surgery

Kensington Palace announced that Princess Kate, 42, is in the hospital for up to two weeks after a successful abdominal surgery.
The wife of Prince William was admitted to a private London clinic on Tuesday. The Palace noted she will rest at the hospital for 10-14 days before continuing recovery at home. Her return to public duties is not anticipated until post-Easter, March 31.

Popularly known as Kate, the Princess of Wales often appears with Prince William and their three children and is known for her solo engagements. The Palace requests public understanding for her privacy, especially regarding her children, and will issue updates on her health only when necessary.

Kate expresses regret for rescheduling her engagements and intends to resume them as soon as she can.
